With vehicle ownership comes essential repair and maintenance obligations. If you wish to continue to enjoy your vehicle, you will need a reliable and dependable repair center that will keep your car in top condition. It's been said that one of the most essential professional relationships you can develop is with a dependable auto mechanic.
When you need auto repair or maintenance, go ahead and stop by. Our ASE-certified technicians will always be readily available to assist you with anything you need. Just a couple of services we offer include brake repair, timing belt inspection and replacement, alternator repair, radiator and water pump repair, transmission replacement and even total engine replacement. Our services take care of your new car warranty, so feel free to see us for all of your routine maintenance needs including oil changes, 30/60/90 services, tune-ups, filter replacements and brakes.
The best thing that can be done for ones car is to keep up-to-date with routine maintenance services. Simply having your oil changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, your front brakes changed at 30,000 miles along with your rear brakes changed at 60,000 miles, along with your timing belt changed every 70,000 to 90,000 miles will extend the life of your car by many years. If you haven't been keeping up with your routine maintenance, you might be noticing complications with the various systems of your vehicle. For instance, squeaks, squeals and roars indicate it's at least time for brake pad replacement and could also indicate the need for brake fluid and also the repair or replacing of the rotors. As the 'lifeblood' of your car, it's very important that your engine oil be as clean as it can be. The oil will naturally pick up dirt and debris as it ages, and this dirty oil will likely then be recirculated, causing premature wear and tear on the different parts of your engine, causing your engine to operate sluggishly and badly affecting fuel useage as well. The timing belt might only warn you with a slight banging sound right in front of your engine, however, if it stops working you'll be instantly stranded. The timing belt is what causes your engine to run, and when it wears or breaks you're looking at a expensive repair bill.
Having your oil changed routinely at Wholesale Tire permits our ASE-certified mechanics to give your car a full safety check. In addition to receiving 5 quarts of Castrol or Castrol Syntec oil and a new oil filter, we'll also top and fill your brake, transmission, battery and power steering fluids, fill your tires, examine your belts and hoses, lube the chassis, check out the window wiper blades and view your brakes. With such a thorough inspection incorporated into an already inexpensive oil change, there is no reason to go elsewhere. Our inspection will catch any imminent repair issues including complications with brakes, timing belts, fluid leaks, and tire wear.
Stop by and see us today. You'll immediately understand why we have been successfully doing auto repair in the St. Joseph Mo area.

Wholesale Tire & Service was started by father and son Jarrett and Tristan Rowland. Mr. Rowland has more than 20 years experience in the automotive repair industry and holds a degree in automotive and diesel technology and management.
The pair were not planning on starting the business. Jarrett recently finished a biology and chemistry degree from Missouri Western State University and was accepted to medical school in January. Tristan was planning on joining the U.S. Navy in 2015. Their love of fixing vehicles and the chance to spend some time together fixing the community’s vehicles made the decision an easy one.
The opportunity came about to move into the old Tadlock Tire/Dipstix building at 3421 Gene Field Road, and the two men took it. Their goal is to build and staff the business with the best repair and maintenance people to serve the needs of the community. The business provides full automotive and diesel repair and service, fleet repair and maintenance.
